Esther was invited to join Chambers upon the successful completion of her pupillage at 9 Gough Square and has quickly developed a busy common law practice encompassing:
Civil
Esther regularly represents both Claimants and Employers in all types of employment law matters. She has particular experience of discrimination and unfair dismissal claims.
She undertakes a range of fast track and multi-track personal injury matters including employers’ and occupiers’ liability, road traffic and highways act claims. She has appeared before the CICAP and is regularly instructed to represent both Claimants and Defendants in contractual, tortious and landlord and tenant disputes.
As Edwin Buckett’s pupil she gained a thorough training in police law and is able to represent police forces in applications for ASBOS, SOPOS and Closure Orders.
Family
Esther’s practice encompasses both private and public law family matters. She represents Local Authorities, parents and Guardians and has significant experience of care proceedings and adoption matters at FPC, County Court and High Court level.
