Jonathan was a Practising Optometrist from 1980 to 1989 before coming to the Bar.

Fraud

Extensive experience of fraud prosecution for the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) and CPS Special Casework, including: conspiracy to defraud, fraudulent trading, large-scale industrial corruption, mortgage fraud and offences under the Insolvency Act. Defence work involving allegations of mortgage fraud, and legal aid fraud.

Actions for and against the Police

Experience involving serious allegations of assaults, false imprisonment, malicious prosecutions and deaths in custody.

Personal Injury

All types of Personal Injury work (for Claimants and Defendants) but principally industrial accidents and disease.

Professional Negligence

Professional Negligence including Clinical Negligence (doctors, dentists and optometrists) and solicitors' negligence.
