£12,000 pa
 

Assistant Receptionist/Administative Assistant

Contract period 6-12 months

9 Gough Square is a successful, busy leading Common Law chambers with 65 members and a highly regarded team of civil, crime and family barristers.

We require an Assistant Receptionist to assist our Head Receptionist/Office Manager and to provide administrative support to the clerks, Chief Executive and Marketing Executive. Full training will be given in all aspects of the job.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience of the legal sector by working in a successful barristers chambers - someone with good IT skills looking to gain all round office experience in a busy working environment. It would particularly help someone in their gap year to build contacts in the legal sector. In addition to a bright disposition and good telephone manner the successful candidate will be proficient in the use of IT especially Microsoft Word and Excel and capable of learning new programmes quickly.
